- English Lessons
Lessons:
I accept a maximum of two students at a time; often you will be the only one. This means you do not have to compete for attention with a class of other students, and can learn exactly what you want and need to learn.
Come alone, or with a friend. A parent can come with their child to give the child a good start in learning English. Minimum student age is six years old.
Learning English with me is nothing like being in school; you learn in a natural and enjoyable way, and all of Kangaroo Island is your classroom.
Choose what you want and need to learn, the form your lessons will take, and the time you would like to stay. The minimum time you can book for is two weeks.
I teach conversational, business and special purpose English, or can help you study for an exam.
I also accept guests who want a peaceful holiday on Kangaroo Island while having a few casual English lessons.
Hear and speak English all the time.
Receive lots of extra, free help and English practice.
Lessons: mornings Monday to Friday.
Weekends: your free time for relaxation, extra sightseeing, or whatever you decide to do.
On Sunday mornings we go to church at the home of friends. You are welcome to come with us if you would like to, to worship, or just to observe. It is an opportunity to meet other Australians in their home and to practice your English in a friendly environment.
Lessons can be:
sit down study (studying for exams or other special purpose) ,
activity based (conversational English while doing a range of activities)
or a combination – it’s your choice.
“Official” Lessons are 12 hours each week, plus you get lots of extra free help and practise.
If you are serious about learning, you can improve quickly.
